Direl Bark Etching Aboriginal tradional owners from around Lake Direl viewing a rare and ancient etched bark from Direl made by a local Aboriginal artist in approx. 1869, ie over 150 years old. The Direl Bark which has been in the custody of the Museum and unseen by traditional owners for decades. The bark depicts hunting scenes, culturally significant motifs, star galaxies and the lake.
