Athena's sanctuary and the Tholos (round temple) devoted to the goddess are located on the site of Marmaria, below the site of Delphi. The Tholos: built around 370 B.C., it is surrounded by 20 columns, 3 of which have been raised. The edifice measures 13.5meters in diameter with a cella of 8.6 meters. The architect was Theodorus of Phocea. Sur le site de Marmaria, en contrebas du site de Delphes se situe le sanctuaire d'Athéna et la tholos (temple rond) consacré à la déesse. La tholos: construit vers 370 avant J.-C. il est entouré de 20 colonnes dont 3 ont été relevées. L'édifice mesure 13,5 mètres de diamètre pour une cella de 8,6 mètres.
