Edmonton Makes Face Masks Mandatory Indoors Starting On Friday

Beginning Friday, September 3, the city of Edmonton will restore temporary mandatory face coverage, requiring masks in all internal public spaces and public vehicles such as LRT, buses and rental vehicles. This includes public areas of businesses, retail stores, and includes city leisure facilities and attractions, transit centers, and LRT platforms.
