Senate Republicans at Press Briefing on Stalled Trump Nominations

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky tells reporters that it is time for Democrats to get over the election and allow the Trump administration to get up and running, the confirmation process, taking longer than it should. Texas Senator John Cornyn says Senator Jeff Sessions should be confirmed as an Attorney General, finding egregious that Democrats have obstructed and slow walked national security nominees, trying to impress their dysfunctional base with overnight speeches by slowing down the process. South Dakota Senator John Thune points out that confirmations have been the slowest since the Eisenhower administration.
