VIETNAM-LUNAR-NEWYEAR
Villagers carry a model of a big wooden firecraker during a procession at the annual traditional firecraker festival of Dong Ky village in the northern province of Bac Ninh, on February 22, 2015. Since 1995, when the Vietnamese government banned firecrakers, the villagers celebrate the event, held on the 4th day of the first lunar month, with wooden models of firecrakers instead of the real thing made with explosive. It is said the festival is linked to the struggle against Vietnam's foreign agressors in the past . AFP PHOTO / HOANG DINH NAM (Photo credit should read HOANG DINH NAM/AFP via Getty Images)
