Caption: VENICE, ITALY-NOVEMBER 21, 2012: This satellite image features Venice, Italy and the Basilicia di Santa Maria della Salute (Basilica of St. Mary of Health). The structure was built in response to the devastating plague. Because the city was saved, the Venetian Senate declared that people would visit the church each year on November 21st in a celebration know as Festa della Madonna della Salute (Feast Day of the Basilicia of St Mary of Health).
