CHINA-SCIENCE-HEALTH-SKULL

This picture taken on August 27, 2014 shows a 46-year-old man named Hu, who plunged three stories and smashed his head on a pile of wood at a construction site in Xian, China's Shaanxi province in October 2013, causing a significant portion of his skull to caved in. Hu has undergone a surgery that was one of the first of its kind, as doctors replaced part of his skull with 3D printed titanium mesh that was molded to perfectly restore the part of his skull that had been smashed in the accident.
