This photo taken on March 24, 2016 shows German pop artist Thomas Bayrle posing next to the model he created of a tapestry showing a Pieta, a mother holding a dead in her arms against in an embroidered shroud showing small skulls, as part of a commissioned project to commemorate WWI, in Aubusson, central France. The Cite de la tapisserie, in partnership with the Committee of the National Monument of Hartmannwillerkopf, launched a project of a monumental tapestry, as part of a commissioned work by the Mission du Centenaire de la Premiere Guerre Mondiale (WWI Centenary Partnership Program), and sponsored by German group Wurth, to mark the centenary of WWI. The tapestry will be presented to the public in the northeastern French WWI site Hartmannswillerkopf in 2017. / AFP / PASCAL LACHENAUD / RESTRICTED TO EDITORIAL USE - MANDATORY MENTION OF THE ARTIST UPON PUBLICATION - TO ILLUSTRATE THE EVENT AS SPECIFIED IN THE CAPTION (Photo credit should read PASCAL LACHENAUD/AFP via Getty Images)
