Police said on April 18 they had arrested two men in connection with the attack by strawberry growers on unpaid migrant labourers that left 27 injured, one of them in critical condition. PAME said the workers had been fired upon with shotguns and pistols. It claimed 33 were hurt, while the police said 27 were wounded, one of them critically.
