GERMANY-REFUGEE-ABUSE-POLICE
A cameraman film the entrance of the federal police station at the central train station in Hanover, northern Germany on May 18, 2015, where a police officer allegedly abused two refugees, strangling an Afghan man in March 2014 and forcing a Moroccan man to eat rotten pork off the floor months later. Prosecutors announced on May 18, 2015 that they are investigating the officer, who has been suspended, on charges of physical assault and illegal weapons possession and have searched his home and work place.
